Wait until you taste this! I am so happy to share my superpower red juice recipe with you!

Always feel free to use what you available to bring different flavors to your juices. Mixing fruits and vegetables, whatever they are, always turns out great!

Ingredients:

• 4 small to medium red beets (or mix red and yellow)

• 4 medium size carrots. Raw and peeled

• 3 apples

• 3 – 4 oranges

• Optional – coconut water for electrolytes

Instructions:

1. For this specific recipe, you will only need a juicer.

2. Peel your beets. I find it works best to use a quality chef knife, cut the ends off so you can set the beet flat on one end and then cut off the skin. Depending on their size, you may need to cut the beets to fit into your juicer.

3. I prefer to peel carrots, but you can choose not to; I cut off the ends.

4. For the apples, I leave the skin on for the extra nutrients and cut out the core.

5. If you have oranges, remove the outer skin. Today I only had carton orange juice, so I used that which tastes great in the juice.

6. Put the top on the blender and mix your juice.

7. Take the top off of the blender container with the juice in it and scrape off the foam or not, your choice.

8. Ta-daaaah!

9. Pour into your favorite cup or juice jar.

Hooray for delicious treats that are healthy as well! Juicing is such an easy way to do something good for yourself. Remember to do something each day that’s good for you.

Fun Fact: Did you know that beets contain a bit of almost all the vitamins and minerals that you need? Juice is a great way to have beets. I also love roasting them and then chilling them to add to salads. I make my favorite salad with fresh organic greens, chilled organic beets, pistachios and blueberry vinaigrette dressing.

If you ever get the chance, I highly recommend the book, Nature’s Secret Messages: Hidden in Plain Sight. I found it fascinating and so practical (walnuts look like the brain and help the brain; the skin of oranges, up close, looks like skin and what does it help, the skin)!
